Six Sigma Supplier of the Year Award
Carolina Handling was awarded the coveted Six Sigma Supplier of the Year Award by one of our largest customers in the hand tool manufacturing and distribution industry for two consecutive years. Each year, this award is presented to the company that achieves the established metrics in quality and service which correlates to the Six Sigma quality philosophy.
Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association
Carolina Handling is proud to be a member of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association. We are an active participant with the organization, serving on numerous committees in addition to our CEO serving many years on the board as well as performing the role of president of the MHEDA Association.
Grant Thornton's NC 100
The "Grant Thornton NC 100" is an annual award that identifies the top 100 privately help companies located in North Carolina. Each year, the accounting firm's listing is organized along with the Business North Carolina magazine. Carolina Handling has been recognized in the GT100 private companies in the state of North Carolina for the past several years.
1996 Olympic Games Materials Handling Equipment Supplier
In 1996, Carolina Handling was selected as the exclusive material handling supplier for the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. The Olympic Games celebrated their 100th Anniversary during this time, and it was certainly a monumental accomplishment for Carolina Handling.
